About The Alnoor Betterment Group
The Alnoor Betterment Group Inc is a not-for-profit incorporated association based in Ellenbrook, Western Australia. Founded in 2019 by Aliaa Al-Zayadi, Alnoor supports individuals and families through community food distribution and inclusive education.
To enhance the lives of financially disadvantaged individuals, people at risk of homelessness and culturally diverse groups.
Reduce hardship, strengthen cultural identity, and promote inclusion and community wellbeing.
History
Our journey so far
- 2019The Alnoor Betterment Group is established (28 February 2019).
- 2023Registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (20 May 2023).
- 2025Endorsed as a Public Benevolent Institution and Deductible Gift Recipient (7 October 2025).
Team
Our people
Alnoor is led by founder and president Aliaa Al-Zayadi. A small team of staff works alongside around 40 volunteers, as reported to the ACNC for 2024–25.
